It's with a touch of nostalgia that Kimialys announces its move to new premises. This move is a great opportunity to take a step back and reflect on Kimialys' journey and our three and a half years at the École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay (ENS).

𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟗: I first heard about the technology of my current associate at an event organized by the association FindYourCofounder

𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎: We began our collaboration by working on project proposals (first wave of Covid) and studying the most relevant positioning and market segments for our future company.

𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎: Kimialys was founded with the mission to revolutionize bio-detection for diagnostic and therapeutic applications through our expertise and innovative surface chemistry, K-One®. We set up at ENS and quickly signed an exclusive license agreement to exploit the technology with SATT Paris-Saclay.

𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐: We won our first competitions and project proposals with Bpifrance (i-Lab, i-Nov, AMI Bioproduction), which allowed the creation of the initial core team of engineer-researchersThus, the adventure took shape with a team of eight on the Saclay plateau!

𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑: We completed our first fundraising round with private and public investors enabling us to accelerate commercially and initiate our industrial transformation, strengthening the team in these two areas. Our clientele, including diagnostic test developers and pharmaceutical laboratories, is expanding in France, Europe, and also in the United States and India.

𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒: We are now a team of 15, and the need arose to move to a location suitable for our activities in the coming years.

It is now done! A big thank you to ENS Paris-Saclay and LBPA for all these years...

Our story now continues on the Cochin hospital campus: a source of pride and responsibility for the entire team to be able to grow in this location, which adds another dimension to our mission.
