Raising funds is obviously not an end in itself, but it remains extremely useful when it comes to industrializing a laboratory innovation and (in some small way) helping move the world forward.

It is therefore with joy and pride that I announce Kimialys’ €3.6 million fundraising round.

“Joy” because this round means that the adventure continues with even greater momentum. It is a real pleasure to see the impact of our work taking shape more and more concretely, whether in the field of biotherapies for Alzheimer’s disease or in HIV diagnostics. We do not develop medicines or diagnostic tests ourselves, but we enable those whose profession it is to do so — and to do it exceptionally well. And that is deeply rewarding.

“Pride” because this round recognizes the outstanding work of a remarkable team, one that is growing and structuring itself day after day (we do not always realize it because we are so focused on execution, but it is important to appreciate how far we have come since our beginnings five years ago with Claude).

Pride as well in seeing major new investors join the project — including Turenne Santé, initiative OCTALFA, and Evolem — and in the continued support of our long-standing investors: GO CAPITAL, BADGE Business Angels des Grandes Écoles, and Angels Santé.

Thank you to all our investors and partners for believing in our team and in the mission that drives us.

The climb continues.
